 This is the “public” library. Why do people have to pay to park here?

 We approached this parking space in my friend’s Corvette from the spot of the picture. If you look closely, you can see a thin sign a couple spaces down from the Corvette. Neither one of us noticed this sign, pointing out the need to feed a meter. My friend paid 35 euros to park here.

These are a couple rip-offs in my town. I am sure your own local governments have their own.
