    I am “troubled” and “concerned” at what kind of action you would advocate. My feeble understanding of politics is that the simple act of making public statements is already some kind of action. But if you mean going-in-with-guns-blazing by taking action, then I will be truly “disappointed” and “outraged”.

    • I am not really advocating any action in this post, although if I were I would I wholeheartedly agree with you that the blazing guns approach is to be avoided (see my post on August 12 -“You Say You Want a Revolutión”.) I am not against politicians making statements, but I am frustrated by hearing the same phrases being used over and over again. They start sounding like cliches, their meaning becomes muddled to me, and I begin to question the speaker’s sincerity.
